To celebrate the 140th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, a function will be held at Parc Marie-Jose, Avenue de Roovere, Molenbeek-Saint-Jean, 1080 Brussels, on Friday, the 2nd October, 2009 at 10:00 hours, as per the following programme:

10:00 hours  - Placing of flower wreath at the statue of Mahatma Gandhi by the 

                           Hon’ble Union Minister of Overseas Indian Affairs, Shri Vayalar Ravi

                          and the Bourgemestre

 

10:05 hours  - Address by Bourgemestre

 

10:10 hours  - Address by Shri Vayalar Ravi, Hon’ble Union Minister for Overseas

                           Indian Affairs

 

10:20 hours  - Singing of Bhajans

 

10:30 hours  - Light refreshments

 

You and your family are cordially invited for the ceremony. You are requested to reach Parc Marie-Jose, Avenue de Roovre, Molenbeek-Saint-Jean, 1080 Brussels by 09:30 hours. Parking for cars has been reserved on Avenue Joseph Baeck by the Commune authorities. It may be noted that the Avenue de Roovere and and Boulevard Edward Machtens are blocked for traffic.
