Make in India Week 13th to 18th of February 2016 at MMRDA grounds, Bandra-Kurla Complex, Mumbai
1. The ‘Make in India Week’ organized by the Government of India is set to take place from 13th to 18th of February 2016 at MMRDA grounds, Bandra-Kurla Complex, Mumbai - India 400051, India The Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi will inaugurate the event.
2. Key opportunities in sectors like auto and auto components, defence and aerospace, food processing, chemicals and petrochemicals, electronics and information technology, pharmaceuticals, textiles, industrial equipment manufacturing, construction equipment, and infrastructure will be showcased through seminars and discussions among major stakeholders.
3. The Make in India Centre at Bandra Kurla Complex will host an exhibition of the most innovative products and manufacturing process in India. Country and State Pavilions in the centre will feature the participation from different countries and Indian states respectively
4. The renowned CNN anchor Fareed Zakaria will host the CNN-Asia Business Forum. Several MoUs are expected to be signed during the Make In India Week, which is being synced with the Kala Ghoda Art Festival and the Elephanta Cultural Festival.
