Embassy of India, Brussels organized  a cultural evening of Kuchipudi and Lambadi dance at the premises of the auditorium of the Embassy of India, Brussels on September 13, 2017 . The cultural evening started with an invocation song by Ms. Chandraja. Dr. Saraswathi Rajathesh presented Kuchipudi dance, one of the eight major Indian classical dance forms of India and Dr. Suneetha Eluri presented  the Lambadi folk dance, a folk dance of Andhra Pradesh in which Banjara women, dressed in colorful costumes and jewelry, dance in harmony to the tunes of the drums played by males. Dr. Saraswathi Rajathesh is an accomplished and versatile dancer, an empanelled artist in ICCR, founder Director of the Natyasaraswathi dance Academy in Bangalore and an expert  in Kuchipudi dance. Her dance academy is recognized both in India and abroad for its contribution to Indian dance and culture through organization of dance performances, workshops, lecture demonstrations and participation in prestigious unique festivals organized by the Andhra pradesh cultural council, ICCR, Telugu university etc. Dr. Suneetha Eluri, a physiotherapist by profession is trained in Banjara and Lambadi dance, Thimsa dance of Araku valley, Koya dance of forest and telangana state folk dances. Around 60 people attended the cultural evening. The event was successful with participants actively engaging in discussions on Kuchipudi and Lambadi dance at the end of the session.
