Power of Attorney issued by the Embassy

The Power of Attorney is issued on the Embassy letterhead and on the basis of documents supporting these facts submitted by the applicant.

In order to obtain a Power of Attorney Certificate, the following documents are needed:

  • Power of Attorney in duplicate
  • The Excutant(s) and two witnesses having valid Resident permits are required to sign before the Consular officer
  • Application Form for Miscellaneous Services;
  • Photocopy of the passport of the Executant(s) and the witnesses;
  • Original Passport;
  • Two photographs (size 3.5 cm x 3.5) cm with white background;
  • Photocopy of Identity Card / Work Permit / or valid visa page from passport;
  • A fee of Euro 25. Fee has to be paid in cash (only at the counter).
  • Collection of documents between 4:45 p.m. - 5:15 p.m.

Note: While the requirements mentioned above are complete in all respects, the Embassy has the right to ask/request for any original documents, at any stage and these documents should be presented for scrutiny and satisfaction of the Consular Officer.
