Shri Hardeep Singh Puri to be next Ambassador/Permanent Representative of India to United Nations in New York

1. SHRI HARDEEP SINGH PURI, currently Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs has been appointed as the next Ambassador /Permanent Representative of India to United Nations, New York, in succession to Shri Nirupam Sen.

2. He is expected to take up his assignment shortly.
