Visit of EAM to Japan

At the invitation of H.E. Hirofumi Nakasone, the Foreign Minister of Japan, Hon’ble S. M. Krishna, Minister of External Affairs, will pay an official visit to Japan from 3 - 4 July 2009 for the 3rd annual Strategic Dialogue of the Foreign Ministers of India and Japan.

During this visit, EAM will review our bilateral partnership with Japan. The two Foreign Ministers will also exchange views on regional and international issues of mutual interest. EAM will be calling on His Excellency Mr. Taro Aso, the Prime Minister of Japan, during his visit.

The External Affairs Minister will also officially inaugurate the new building of the Indian Embassy in Tokyo, and will meet with members of the Indian community in Japan.
