The Government of India has decided to levy a surcharge on Consular Services rendered by Embassy of India to Belgium, Luxembourg, and the European Union. The surcharge is as given below:

1. For Passport, OCI and PIO cards – Euro 3.00 per document.

2. For attestation of employment document - Euro 3.00 per document per worker

3. Attestation of other documents and other miscellaneous consular services rendered by Mission (other than in death cases) - Euro 3.00 per worker.

The above surcharge will be implemented with effect from 1st May 2011 and will be added to the existing Consular Service fees.
